Zen, awarded the Grands Prix du Design, triumphs at the ADA 2024

The Zen bathtub, designed by Studio Monica Graffeo, recently won the Grands Prix du Design 2024 in Canada: an international recognition that celebrates excellence and innovation in design, honoring the best projects from all over the world. Inspired by Eastern rituals, Zen reinterprets the concept of the bathroom as a moment of purification and relaxation, with a shape that combines simplicity and sophistication. The project stands out for its contemporary and functional approach, designed to meet the needs of modern well-being.

A week after winning the Grands Prix, Zen added another prestigious trophy to its collection, also winning the Archiproducts Design Award 2024. The award ceremony, held on November 14th in Milan, was attended by designers Monica Graffeo and Francesca Veratelli.

A design conceived for every space

Zen is a freestanding bathtub inspired by the Eastern ritual of Ofuro. It is characterized by an essential and refined design, where pure forms and clean lines meet in a balance of simplicity and elegance. The fluid, sculpted rim softens the rigidity of the structure. The ergonomic seat enhances comfort during immersion. Its versatility makes it suitable for any space, even small bathrooms.

In the corner version, Zen can be equipped with edge-mounted faucets, while in the central configuration, it features a sophisticated ash wood towel rail. The raised platform facilitates access to the bathtub and provides a convenient support for bathroom accessories.

The recognition at the Grands Prix du Design and the ADA 2024 are the perfect tribute to a project that successfully combines tradition, aesthetics, and versatility in a single refined proposal.
